FUNCTIONS

  • Build relationships with healthcare institutions and invite them for campus recruitment drives and talks.
  • Organize workshops and mock interviews to improve resume writing, interview skills, and professional etiquette.
  • Provide counseling and guidance on higher education, certification courses, and nursing specializations.
  • Coordinate campus recruitment in-house and outside hospital drives.
  • Assist students in securing internships and maintain a database of opportunities and placements.
  • Develop an alumni network for mentorship and organize networking events to keep alumni engaged.
  • Foster partnerships for collaborative projects, guest lectures, and hospital visits.
  • Collect feedback from recruiters and students to improve training programs and placement processes.

SESSION ON NAVIGATING COMPETITIVE EXAMS

On June 23, 2()23, Ms. Ancy Louis delivered a session entitled "Navigating Competitive Exams" to final-year students in the Conference Hall. This session catered to healthcare professionals seeking employment in English-speaking settings, emphasizing the evaluation of language communication skills within a healthcare framework. As an OET Trainer, Ms. Ancy offered comprehensive advice on preparing for the OET examination, outlining vital strategies and recommended resources to enhance candidates' chances of success.


SESSION ON CAREER OPPORTUNITIES FOR NURSES

The Holy Spirit Institute of Nursing Education held a session for graduating undergraduate students featuring a presentation by Holy Spirit Hospital staff on nursing career opportunities domestically and internationally. The session aimed to motivate and guide students on career paths, specializations, and contributions to healthcare.


SESSION ON IN CAMPUS CAREER MOTIVATIONAL

On August 22, 2020, a motivational talk was held for outgoing B.Sc. (N) and P.B.B.Sc. (N) students. Principal Sr. Felcy Chacko stressed the importance of clinical experience for career growth, while Sr. Sneha Joseph, Executive Director of Holy Spirit Hospital, encouraged students to join HSH for enriched clinical experience. Dr. Susan Sodder, Medical Director, was also present. The session was attended by 37 students.
